What is a FAQ?
FAQ is an abbreviation for 'Frequently Asked Question'. An FAQ is a standard answer to a commonly asked question about the University and/or its services and facilities.
How can I improve my searches?
Results are returned based on 'keywords' entered into the search field. To improve your searches, use the drop down controls to limit the results group and area.
How do I search by phrase instead of keyword?
By default, a search will be performed using 'keywords' instead of 'phrases'. To perform a search as a phrase, simply enclose the phrase in quotation marks (").
e.g. "double degree"
To further improve results, the plus (+) and minus (-) symbols can be appended to the start of phrases for smarter results. For example, the following query will return all 'Bachelor of Arts' programs but not Honors.
e.g. +"double degree" -"combined"
Why don't I get any results when I am searching?
Receiving no results from a search is usually due to being over specific or spelling mistakes in the query. Try to enter general keywords related to the FAQ or FAQs you are searching.
